Panel Discussion: “Sulla frontiera serba” with Filippo Foscarini, June 12, 2024, intercultural film festival “Altre Rive 2024”, Palermo

As part of the intercultural film festival Altre Rive 2024, an initiative of the German Embassy Rome and the Goethe Institut Palermo, the panel discussion “Sulla frontiera serba” (At the Serbian Border) will take place on Wednesday, June 12, at 6 p.m. at the Cinema Rouge et Noir.

Using materials from his current film project, Filippo Foscarini, filmmaker and HaFI residency fellow 2023 (realized in collaboration with Kultur Ensemble Palermo) will discuss with Clio Nicastro (HaFI) and Federico Cammarata, co-author and cinematographer of Sulla frontiera serba, the geopolitical image of a zone in Europe between Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia that is characterized by geopolitical tensions and serious human rights violations.
